The game of soccer has been played for over 2,000 years. This global game is supported by over 190 countries participating in the World Cup with an accumulated televison audience of over 40 billion viewers.

Soccer became Canada’s number one participant sport in 1996 and Ontario’s registrants make up 45.0% of Canada’s playing population.

The Ontario Soccer Association

osa_logoThe Ontairo Soccer Assocation (OSA) was founded in 1901 and is one of the oldest and largest sport organizations in Canada.  The Ontario Soccer Association provides leadership and support for the advancement of soccer in collaboration and cooperation with our membership, partners and other stakeholders by providing exceptional and sustainable programs and services.

Soccer is played by young and old because it is fun, easy to play, promotes health and fitness and is reasonably inexpensive.

The game is being played by one out of three kids and two of five players are female.

The OSA is made up of 21 District Branch Offices and several Associate Members namely regional and provincial leagues. The District's membership are the 290 Youth Clubs and 860 Senior Clubs across Ontario.

The OSA’s Profile outlines the scope of the organization and its strategic initiatives. The Organizational Chart gives a feel for how it all fits together. The Marketplace breaks out the various demographics of the organization and the Programs section gives a summary of the various programs and services offered to the membership.
