Kitchener Soccer Club is proud to be centred in the midst of three active city centres,Waterloo, Kitchener and Cambridge. In the interests of promoting our region as a centre for soccer enthusiasts and active youth development, the club is working with the cities, to combine efforts to achieve these goals.
The Kitchener International Tournament, brings many tourists and visitors to the area, and each area of the region has lots to offer our guests. Situated within an hour's drive of the Toronto International Airport, our residents also enjoy the local service of the Waterloo Regional International Airport. If you are driving to visit, we are located between London and Toronto, an hour east of London and an hour west from the Greater Toronto area. The over half a million people living in our region enjoy an active, vibrant commuity and a great place to call home.
The grand river snakes its way throughout the city and more information can be found at The Grand River Conservation Authority. In addition waterscape of the the winding river, the cities maintains an intricate network of community trails, parks and green space. Coming for a visit? As well, the city celebrates a long and proud tradition of hosting an urban market in the heart of downtown, by operating the Kitchener Farmers Market, a popular and flourishing destination for residents and visitors alike. We are proud of our strong education system and facilities: our primary, secondary, and post secondary levels, including Conestoga College, ranked the best college in the province, year after year.
