2009 Christmas Miracle Project
Date Posted: Tuesday, January 5th, 2010 | 4:34 PM EST

The Kitchener Soccer Club received the following letter from the Doon Pioneer Park Community Association.

December 28th, 2009

Dear Kitchener Soccer Club;

Thank you for supporting the 2009 Christmas Miracle Project by providing special items for our project (baby food, books, non-perishable food items, packing boxes, Christmas trees, ice cream cakes, knitted goods, etc.). Your support is gratefully appreciated for this worthy cause.

We also collected non-perishable food items and monetary donations from our community and spent an average of $150.00 per family (3 adult equivalents). Thanks to your generous donation, the 50 families living in the Doon Pioneer Park community we were able to help this year, enjoyed the added bonus of many special items that would not have been offered without your donation.

This project would not be possible without the continued support from community members like you. Thank you again for your generosity and best wishes to you and your family in 2010.

Sincerely,

Florence Carbray, Coordinator
